A battery disconnect is an important feature to add to any hot rod. If you shut it off at any time, the memory in your digital radio goes away as does the memory if you have fuel injection. This Memory Bypass can be mounted in any convenient location inside the car near the driver which keeps just enough juce flowing to eliminate this problem. If you attempt to start the car with the disconnect switch off, the fuse will blow. Other brands say their inaccessible jumper will reset automatically if for some reason this is a failure. Install the fuse mount in a location that is accessible for two reasons: 1. It is accessible to pull the fuse should you need to kill the power to the computer so you can work on it (power must be removed) 2. It can be replaced if it does blow by accident
